Assuming the Dolphins tender contracts to restricted free agent safety Arturo Freeman, defensive lineman Jermaine Haley and defensive back Trent Gamble, the team likely will have to trim between $4 million and $5 million in salary-cap space before Feb. 28 to be under the projected salary cap of $75 million

I have them about $3.5 million over with all RFAs and EFAs tendered. This actually represents a greater gap than just $1.5 million. It's possible the above assumption is that more than just DT Haley will be tendered at the 1st rd tender, but only Haley is really worth it

Actually, I believe the discrepancy between the above article and my numbers is the NLTBE "debit" that I did NOT include because I don't know what it will be for the Fins or the Bills.

NFLPA just changed all of Ricky Williams' salaries AGAIN LOL

He will count an additional $675,000 each year remaining on his deal :)
