    Travis Henry

Since there really is nothing to talk about, I found this whole situation fascinating by all parties. Henry vows never to play in bufffalo again, Demands a trade. The titans give a third round pick for Travis, and then agrees to a 4 year extension. Travis is happy even though he is in the same exact situation as he was in buffalo. Second string. In 2005 he is both hurt AND suspended for a failed drug test. Fast-forward to the 2006 Draft, the Titans have no third round pick, and use their second rounder on LenDale White. So now he is third string and will either never see the field, or will get cut. Is there something I am missing here from Henry's or the Titans perspective?

The Bills got the best they could out of both Henry and the Titans, period.

I would guess that Henry will be cut, but maybe they'll keep him on
in case Brown gets hurt and LenDale is the next Curtis Enis.

Have you watched Deal or No Deal yet? When the idiot contestant has a great deal in his hands and throws it away for the unknown.

Hate to say it but Travis is a major loser. Start with the statutory rape arrest. Move on to signing an extension of his deal with us at short money because he'd blown his wad. Then and more importantly how he sulked and IMO didn't play all out after we drafted WM. His poor play in the first 5 games of 2004 was a big reason why we didn't make the playoffs that year. Then he's suspended for drugs. If you were picking a contestant for "Jeopardy" and your choices were a tree stump, a house plant and Travis Henry I think you could flip a coin and it wouldn't matter which choice came up.

Tenn better hope Ledale White turns out to be as good as he was in college, Chris brown is more than injury prone, and Travis is an absolute moron, given Travis past he will probably be realeased and picked up by Miami, or Oaktown, he'll fit in better

Exactly. Donahoe got that one right.

Ya, I still cannot believe that when we got a 3rd rounder for Travis Henry, a couple years later we trade away Eric Moulds and get a 5th. I guess it shows how much people are coveting their draft picks nowadays.

Granted, Henry was young-ish and had a great year or 2, but Moulds isn't THAT old, and running backs are more of a dime-a-dozen commodity in the NFL, especially compared to WRs.

Travis never really got a fair shake here but he really got what was coming to him. He runs for 1,300 and we draft a RB in the first round? That was pretty cold.

I love how when Travis was here, we all thought of him as a top-rate top 10 back in the NFL. He played his heart out for the team then the front office slapped him in the face by selecting McGahee who hasn't been a marked improvement on the field over Henry. He

Now Henry is gone and he's a complete bum. Baffling. He wasn't treated fairly by the last regime and unfortunately he has yet to prove as such. And he may not be able to in Tenn.

Not all of us thought of him as a Top 10 RB. Maybe some did and the complete homers thought he was a Top 5 RB.

You're right I shoulda rephrased that, my bad....MOST thought he was a top 10 but not all. Pretty much everyone I knew loved the guy and thought he was awesome and only a few would point out his fumbling problem.

Henry was a bum who blew his money on drugs and gambling. He failed a drug test and that's why he got suspended.

I know plenty of card dealers from the casino in Niagara Falls. Henry was there quite often losing large amounts of money. His favorite game was Craps.

I guess he was a big ass while he was playing too and thought he was better then everyone and caused trouble. I guess that happens to a lot of people though when their losing thousands of dollars a night on the Craps table.

Between drugs and Craps, Henry blew most of the millions he made with the Bills and had to come begging on his hands and knees for a one year contract extension for cheap because he was broke. What a pathetic individual.

When Henry was here I thought he was an excellent back and I loved the way he played for this team up until McGahee was drafted. Dumb ass. He should have just stayed.

I started a Madden 2006 season just the other day and traded him away to Kansas City for G Johnathon Wells and a 5th & 6th round draft pick(s). So far so good.
