I am bafled by the Dolphins high rnking, I just don't see it. I don't think they will win as many games as last year.

Eh.

The Sabres season took out any faith I ever had in power rankings.

Bc they had a strong finish last year. The same reason we were ranked high going into last season. I agree thats a little too high, but I expect Miami to be pretty good this season and make a playoff run if they have consistant QB play. This was also the "success plan" for us going into last season so who knows, they could suck.

They also have Cincinnati as 18th...come on...Well he said thats because of the questions about when Palmer will be back. Atlanta at 22 strikes me as a little odd though, I know Vick has looked lost at times but that D has been pretty good to go along with that runing game. Seems a little low.
I have to say too that us starting the season as the 6th best team in the league seems a little high. I'll take it but I still think we have a lot to prove, we finished the season on a tear but people forget that we started the year at 3 and 7.

I hope that we won't be viewed this high in these other entertainment polls in the future until the season gets going. Despite the finish, I'd rather have them be the under dogs and prove people wrong, then be hyped up w/o playing a game. Polls like this should be labeled as sports entertainment (not the WWE kind, lol,) since these polls are just someone's opinion.

The media is in love with Nick Saban. I think they should call him Saint Nick since they have canonized him. The Bills probably are ranked where they should be until the offensive line proves the prognisticators wrong and Losman shows signs of developing. It'll change.

We are ranked way too high for the start of this season, we have a brand new secondary, new QB's, a growing OL, and a missing RW...we should be middle of the pack right now, I'd say 16..Top 10 at this point, no way..
Plus we have a totally different OC and DC, even thought the DC is more in line with what we were doing, the OC has a completely different attitude about how to get the ball down field, even though he's running our O.
