I've heard that he's kept a open line of communication with "Bill" and he's had a physical with the Patriots, but I don't think anything has been put on the table as of yet. NFLNetwork surmised that the Seahawks/Chiefs/ and maybe the Titans will turn up the talks for Law's services.

If the Pats bring a player in for a physical, it means they're serious about him. If he leaves without a contract though, it means they've lowballed yet ANOTHER player. Look for Law to end up in KC or Tennessee, where he'll get a LOT more money.

There is nothing to it yet, although it is interesting they brought him in. They have had no negotiations on a contract, according to his agent, but Law and Belichick have talked several times.

I'd love for it to happen, but I don't think it will. If I had to guess I'd say he most likely ends up in Seattle.

Players going back to an old team used to never happen in FA, but now it seems to be coming more and more common. Trotter in Philly, Brad Johnson in Minny, Peerless in Buffalo, Law in NE, etc. Interesting.

I know he may have played for 2 division rivals and is aging, but I'd be damn glad to have a guy who can get 10 picks next season...

NE seems to be the only place he can play.

I'd really rather not see that happen.

He had 10 interceptions last year, he played just fine for the Jets.
