    Ashley Lelie

    Seems that Lelie and Denver will be parting ways soon. Denver is frustrated with Lelie's lack of production and Lelie is frustrated he doesn't get the ball more. Since Denver acquired Javon Walker it doesn't look like that is going to change anytime soon. If Lelie continues to miss practice its pretty obvious Denver will try to move him.

    Lelie will most likely be available for a 3rd rounder. I imagine GB will be interested in this but I think we should give it some consideration as well,
    Lelie is a young guy with the kind of size we are missing from our core right now. I dont think a 3rd round is over spending for a guy with his potential.

    What do you guys think?

    It was all     true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
    He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can     mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

                Lelie makes absolutely spectacular catches in practice, but chokes on gameday. If you got a running game like Denver's and Rod Smith on the other side and still can't catch more than 4 TDs a season, you've got problems.

                    Lelie is a classic underachiever who has never lived up to his potential in Denver. Doesn't Andre Davis already have that role for us?
                    Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

                        Completely agree. He had 4.2 speed coming out of Hawaii but has a thin, brittle body and lacks toughness. Drops too many balls and will be out of the lineup constantly.

                            I like Lelie and would be a nice addition but not for a 3rd rounder. Late 2nd day pick is fine.
