The media, of course.
When the Hurricanes moved from Hartford to Carolina, they had to put a special section in the Carolina newspapers explaining the rules of hockey.
i'm not ragging on you, it's just that i grew up 20 minutes north of Hartford, and the Whalers were my team. Things were never the same once they left.
