Red and Black Hockey (http://redblackhockey.blogspot.com/)hasn’t posted much of anything on the series.
CasonBlog (http://casonblog.blogspot.com/) has been strangely silent on the matchup as well.
The only post from The Acid Queen (http://acidqueen5426.blogspot.com/) on the series is not the most pleasant, since she called us asshats (http://acidqueen5426.blogspot.com/2006/05/and-we-would-especially-like-to.html):

Seems a bit extreme. Unfortunately, BfloBlog doesn’t have much of a relationship with any of these bloggers, so we may not get the same good-natured jabs going back-and-forth like we did for Ottawa.
But, if you go into enemy blogs, let’s make sure we represent the Buffalo blogging community well. I will assume that the blog calling us asshats was directed at message board types and not bloggers like us and our readers.

While I don't believe we're "asshats", I must admit, some of us aren't exactly humble fans. I enjoy a bit of jabbing with opposing fans just as much as the next, but I always feel class is best. Of course, I believe that much of the negativity and bad rep our community of fans gets stems from the '99 incident. A few of my buddies from other boards who are Dallas fans feel that some of us blamed the Stars directly, when in fact it was the NHL's fault (I'm sure no fan with a brain would not know that already).

Otherwise, I think we're a swell group! :beers:

I couldn't say much about Carolina fans one way or another, but I would call the lack of enthusiasm in that building, plus the fact that you can't even sell out your games dissapointing at best. Stay tuned for Wednesday night and listen to how a real crowd reacts to their team. When I can hear more out of town, opposition fans on a TV broadcast, that's just down right pathetic! I kind of wish I were moving to Raleigh 2 months sooner so I could be right there creating a ruckus with the rest of the Buffalo fans!

So I'm a vandal for moving to the Raleigh area??? Glad to see that Southern Hospitality shining through... I didn't insult or attack you in my post, no need for you to do so to me. I simply stated that it was sad you guys can't even sell out your own building, which is true. Our ticket prices are a hell of a lot higher now then they were all season too, didn't stop them from going in 13 minutes though. And WHEN we get to the Stanley Cup Finals, the prices will go up yet again, and it'll sell out even FASTER! Sabres tickets were jacked up just as much as Canes tickets, perhaps even more so... and last I saw you were paying $70 for uppers while fans going to HSBC are paying $100, with most paying even more through scalpers. I'd suggest doing a little research as to get your facts straight before you continue to make yourself look like a rambling moron who missed her midol.

If Buffalo fans were so misbehaved, as you and and the rest of your Stepford Wives club have suggested, why aren't there any news outlets reporting assaults or vandalism? Where's the police blotter? I see no hospitals overwhelmed with battered and bruised people limping through the sliding doors.
