Is NBC going to leave the game on and not go to the Preakness? I doubt it. Out of town people could get screwed on this.

Oh man... I totaly didnt even think of this! I'm recording the game on my DVR because I don't get out of work until 4. The trick is going to be to resist the urge to watch the end of the game when I get home. I'm going to try and take a nap so I can wake up and watch the whole thing, I'll be super pissed if they don't show the whole game!

NBC will stick withteh game, they have all post season with OT games so far..

I just read an article (too lazy to go back and find the link) that said NBC would have cut to the horse race and continued the game on OLN because of contractual obligations. That would of been a slap in the face to the NHL. Good thing McKee scored not only for the Sabres but for the NHL not having to endure second rate treatment. Bettman you owe Buffalo one.

Whether he cares for Buffalo or not is secondary, I don't think he could have been pleased if the sport he is commisioner of gets bumped off the air by a mahor network. It wouldn't of happened in the NFL,NBA, or MLB. The NHL will always be in the shadows of those other sports but as hockey fans, we would be the ones to lose out. He needs to get some sort of arrangement with a network for the future of the league.
