McKenzie: Canes must deal with Sabres balance

You can argue that the Buffalo Sabres had no business winning Game 1 against the Ottawa Senators but that was the launching pad for them to win the series. What's going to be difficult for the Carolina Hurricanes to deal with in this Buffalo team is the fact that it is so balanced. And I mean balanced in every way.

Short, sweet, to-the-point :bf1: The balance is what makes this Sabres team superior to the one that went to the Finals in 99. That team was all about Hasek and the defensive play of Ward-Peca-Varada as the #1 Checking line. The top 2 lines back then got the bulk of the minutes..3rd line got some good ice time as well but the 4th barely got any on some nights.
