Ted Nolan is nine years removed from his first and only head-coaching job in the National Hockey League, and he has theories why he has been kept out of the game's top loop since winning the Jack Adams Award as the coach of the year with the 1996-97 Buffalo Sabres.His most shocking supposition is that he has been excluded because of the color of his skin.
