I think the lack of a call on Roy on the pick for the goal evens things up. When Pyatt elbowed Commodore, did he hit Pyatt back? It looked like he lined up Pyatt to nail him but they cut it before the end in the replay.

Even I, who have been giving you guys crap for complaing about the refs lately, though we were getting hosed early on, but they seem to be making up for it late in the period. Let's just hope for some balance the rest of the way. Sabres are definitely playing better tonight then they did on Monday.

They said last time it took them a couple of minutes to sync up. They should be fine for the rest of the game if you have Adelphia. If not, then you are SOL.

Well, thats the good thing about having it be in buffalo, the WGR broadcast is on sirius. I'm sure its behind, even over regular radio in the buffalo area. I know its way behind on the net broadcast. 15 seconds or more in my expirence. I've had friends ruin goals before me before I even heard about the play that sets them up!

After listening to Carolina's radio team talk about how Lindy's complaining got the refs to notice all throughout the 1st (And not once did they mention Laviolette press conference that started it all :rolleyes: ), I was ready to puke when I walked in the door. To boot, the 1st was absolutely horrible, with the refs playing too heavily into the game. Way to go, Coaches. :down:

However, Period 2 begins, and the game truly starts. Buffalo is back to their flying ways on offense, and they're actually playing the body well, with some crushing hits out there. I feel that is very important, since some teams' fans seem to think Buffalo is soft (And at times, I think they're the least hard hitting team left in the playoffs).

Let's go, Buff-a-lo!!

I wish the team could play at least 2 periods of dominating hockey against Carolina. We looked like a team worth of the Cup in period 2 and then looked like a team lucky enough to be in it for much of the rest.

and for gods sake, can this team score 1 empty net goal. Every game we win by 1 in regulation we seem to get pummeled in our own zone at the end.
