Lindy is putting this line back together tonight apparently. They played well against Philly.

Max better show up tonight.

why did he separate them in the First place?

they shut down Forseberg, they shut down Spezza, Heatley and Alfredson (and Havlat at times)

and they scored, why would you knot keep them together?

Maybe he thought they could help boost the other lines by breaking them up :idunno: Or maybe it had to do with the injuries on D, maybe he's trying to make up for the inexperience on D by pairing certain guys on the offensive side... who knows really.

I saw Roy paired with Max quite a bit the other night, so maybe Lindy was trying to help Max out since he's apparently disappeared so far this post season.

Either way, I hope he keeps this line together the rest of the way.

yeah, Roy, Max, and Vanek have been playing together lately, and not doing crap really... Hopefully this will spark something.

Max and Vanek = Biggest dissapointments thus far in the postseason.

Max has had his moments... Vanek hasn't. He's all but invisible on the ice out there. I don't know if it's nerves or what, but Max has reverted to his play from 2 years ago where he tries to do it all himself and it doesn't work.

I agree with BMNinja, While max has had 3 goals/4 assists, vanek is only at 2 points for the entire post season. However, both have been very lackluster thus far

When Connolly went down, Roy was the only one that could competent enough to play center. Novotny had a good showing in game 3 vs. Ottawa but not in game 4, and so Vanek was put in.

With all the breakaways and opportunities Max should have 500 points by now.

If Max stopped trying to be so pretty and just put the puck on net he would score so much more. Then again, that could be said for the majority of the team. Just shoot the puck! It's like throwing spaghetti at the wall. Eventually it will stick.

They played well tonight! I think Coach will keep them together.

GO SABRES!
