Lindy Ruff says Sabres defenseman, Teppo Numminen, will most likely sit out Game 4 tonight at HSBC Arena. He told media today that Numminen in all likelihood will sit out and is not ready to return to the ice yet. Numminen, out with a hip flexor, will likely be replaced by Doug Janik.

Christ....I'd rather have myself playing than Janik.

We need Teppo bad...very discouraging...I am sure if he was able to he would be out there. Just sucks you have 2 minor leaguers and Fitzpatrick rounding out half the defensemen playing.
I wonder how lonh Khalinin will be out for. He's been out almost 3 weeks. I would hope he could be back in 1-2 weeks if the Sabres make it to the finals.

Is it a hip flexor or a groin? I'm hearing two different stories. And that he is definetly out.
