Chris Brown, of BuffaloBills.com, reports Buffalo Bills OL Brad Butler (shoulder) is still working hard despite his injury. For now, he can only participate in individual drills, but he is observing team practices and watching extra game film to get a feel for the team's system

Sounds like he has just the right mentality to be a good O lineman in the future - and a Levy favorite.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Not an unrelated thought....... We need more guys like Butler and less guys like willis....he is acting like a dolphin or a cowboy latley.

Slamming a self-proclaimed "best back in the league" punk ass from "The U" is much more fun than debating between a underachieving 1st rounder QB and a journeyman.

I'm not able to peer that far into the future. For the time being, I'm going to assume that Melvin Fowler is the solution at center. If he is, I think he would probably start for 5+ years. Geisinger struggled as a rookie and is going to need to develop a lot before he's ready to start. Preston did a little better and I do think he's going to start somewhere on the line, maybe by 2007. Tutan Reyes is likely to start this year. I'm a little less confident that he is a long term solution, but Aaron Mertz was a seventh rouind draft choice with limited athleticism. Maybe he can develop, but there are going to be other candidates for the job too. Butler might be a starter eventually, but I heard a lot of people gushing about Terrence Pennington's athleticism to the point where I think he may eventually be the better player even though he's a later pick.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

Because the Rookie is here working to help his team. The punk isn't
