    Tonight's Game

I know things look bad for a win tonight. We are without three of our best D-men. On paper our goose is cooked. For many a Sabres fan here they have spent the day filled with dread, expecting and preparing their psyches for a loss. Pity really.

It's a game, the world won't end. It is supposed to be fun, entertainment that is all. Besides this is what I know.

It is only on paper we are doomed. This team has over come injurys and defied what the "paper" has said all season long. Ask Melrose.

A team playing as a team can overcome huge odds including superior talent.

We have Ryan Miller he can steal game if he is on.

We have an offense that can score, and that is the object of the game score more goals than your opposition.

The Sabres have demonstrated an uncanny will to win. They just want it. They will do what it takes to win when the big game is at steak. The crowd will provide a home ice advantage, (so will last line change).
    I believe.

    Go Sabres!

In the end, there are only three liberal archetypes: The fools, the beneficiaries and the crooks.
"If you build a man a fire, he'll be warm for a day, but if you set a man on fire, he'll be warm for the rest of his life"
    Optyimus Ignorus Realityious!

"Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and the success of liberty.
    - John F. Kennedy, January 20, 1961

To live in the presence of great truths and eternal laws,
to be led by permanent ideals -
that is what keeps a man patient
    when the world ignores him,
and calm and unspoiled when the world praises him. -- Honore De Balzac
