Well he played soild in the 3rd period last game. So Carolina won't be concerned with their goaltending. I also think being down 3 defencemen, Carolina is thinking Buffalo won't be playing as wide an open game as they usually do, reducing the amount Gerber is tested. It's a smart move for Carolina. He looked stronger than Ward did and seemed to give Carolina the boost they needed in game 3.Comment
