All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

There was a bunch of speculation that the Redskins would make a strong push to get Bills receiver Peerless Price in free agency if the Bills didn't tag him. But word out of Washington is that Price isn't a player they will go after. They like him some, but with a receiver-heavy draft, the Redskins might be able to get a big-play guy and then sign a lower-priced veteran to go with Rod Gardner. The Falcons are still eyeing Price, although the price will have to be right. Price does make his home in Atlanta, which should help.
In Buffalo, word is coach Gregg Williams asked owner Ralph Wilson for a contract extension but was turned down. That should be a sign that Williams is in a win-or-else year.
Doesn't make sense. Why would they extend the assistants GW hired, and leave GW hanging. Doesn't make any sense.
Unless they are willing to give him one more year and promote from within, ie Gilbride or Lebeau? maybe, or they feel that they can just clean house and eat the assistant coaches salaries.
Originally posted by Doc CBS Sportsline's Bills report says that GW WILL be extended. So much for a website getting their ducks in a row before reporting "news."
CBS sportsline is a joke. They are the ones who reported last week the Bills were going to put the franchise tag on Price. If that happens I'll eat my jock strap!
We need to resign Peerless Price. How often do you find a wide reciever with his talents. Of course he had Eric Moulds (GOD) to compliment him but the average wide reciever doesn't put up his numbers. Greg Williams has been a good coach not great. He improved the off-season workout and has the intensity that players will respond to. But, I think TD should see what how he does this year and then agree on an extension. If he does terrible we should seriously consider a college coach i.e. Bob Stoops.
I see no reason not to give GW an extension. They could still fire him if things don't get done. He has improved as a coach and I think that's pretty obvious. The players don't quit on him which is most important for a head coach. That's the head coaches job, keep the players believing in you and motivated. The coordinators call the plays (usually). GW does need to improve clock management but I think he was a hell of a lot better overall in his 2nd season. Now if things fall apart this year.....see ya. I'm not pro GW but we should be fair.
