But not ours. Carolina is getting all the borderline penalty calls their way. They are getting all of the lucky bounces off the walls. They have no significant injuries at all, half of our lineup is injured and out. They are doing to Buffalo what Buffalo did to everyone else in the playoffs. Let's face it folks, they are the only ones that can screw it up at this point. Buffalo is in serious trouble.

You guys just got real unlucky with defensive injuries. It's tough to have depth at defense unless you spend a little extra cash.

I think Jim Kelly sums it up. But remember it's not over yet, win at home and it's a 1 game shootout for a chance at the cup.

Yes, you're correct, but you know what? I feel very positive that the Sabres will win tomorrow and take it back to Carolina. Just a feeling I have.

Well if we should lose (I dont think we will, though) I hope the fans are smart enough to applaud them for the great season they have had and not boo them. Its been a great ride so far,but I dont think its over yet...thats whats in my heart.

the fans will boo or walk out quietly...this city is so starved for a championship that it will not accept anything else. As I said in an ealier post many, many are dying inside for validation for staying here, living here and generally give a crap about this place.

In all seriousness, is that really the attitude people who live in Buffalo have about your city?

Actually it is. I'd invite you all down here to enjoy all of our beautiful weather and prime location. But too many of you are convinced all your teeth will fall out and you'll immediately become a race car fan if you do...

Many people, if they have had steady good jobs, still like the area as long as greed is not their primary motivator. I have three brothers doing well there with nice houses, etc. My sister is doing ok but customer base for husband is fading way. In the city itself people are a lot more skeptical even when they have houses & jobs. The problem is the extreme aging of the population making it difficult to get enough income in area to support them and attract employers other than retail.

My brother and sister live north of Charollete and are doing well and moved partly because of lack of advancement.

Our family was dirt poor so it wasn't like we had a lot of advantages other than living in subburbs not city like some of our relatives.
