Thomas has a chance at redemption in Buffalo

Since bursting onto the NFL scene as a rookie running back for the Chicago Bears in 2001, Anthony Thomas has had a mostly frustrating time trying to stay relevant in the pros. He spent four seasons with the Bears and last year with the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints , where he failed miserably. Luckily for Thomas, the Buffalo Bills signed him to a one-year contract in April, and he may be the frontrunner to be the team's backup ball-carrier. more

It is no more than someone on the message board posting their opinion. Barely better than PFC and hardlly qualifies as "news".

"The Bills' current starter, Willis McGahee, doesn't look like the type of player who will last in Buffalo for any kind of extended time period. If McGahee shows a lack of commitment to the organization and Thomas can discover his old style of play, he may see plenty of carries next season, while McGahee's touches would dip severely. That may not seem like a probable scenario, but don't rule it out. GM Marv Levy is trying hard to build the Buffalo Bills around unselfishness, and the grandiose McGahee hardly fits that description."

Lets hope this is the case and we part ways with willis sooner than later.
