will it be the greatest sports victory ever by a Sabres team or any Buffalo sports team for that matter??

If McKee is out, I can't see how they win. Janik playing 15-20 minutes (at least)? Jillson and Paetsch getting 10-15? Or Pominville on defense?

I am getting into the Eb pessimistic area and don't see a win happening if McKee does not play.

IF they can pull a win out of their ARSES tonight......It will be, bar none....one of the greatest upset wins in hockey....ever. Can you say Miracle on Ice Part II?
Either way....it's been a hell of a ride.

Miracle on Ice, Part II???

LOL - Before this season started, how many people would have ever thought a victory over the Carolina Hurricanes would be considered so huge?

That one sentence is more respect than that 'Canes got from every professional analyst combined in the pre-season.

It's really not about Carolina. But winning game 7 of the conference championship series, with 2/3 of your starting defense out, and your top regular season goal scorer out as well, on the road.....would be huge.

Carolina is a good team, but you could insert any of the top Eastern conference teams if they had made it to the Conference Finals, and the story would be the same.

It's one game. If this all happened before game one, forget about it, we'd be cooked.

But all we have to do is steal one game.

We have outplayed them the last two games down 3 defensemen. It will be a big hill to climb but the team can do it. They need to stay out of the penalty box.

very well put it. Very proud of the boys even if the road ends tonight.

But i still believe. Ruff is a mastermind at getting into players heads, he will tell them the world is laughing at them, noone believes in them, and all that garbage, and he will make the play their games of their lives.

LETS GO BUFFALO!!

Miller needs to stone them.

It can be done.

The Sabres need to sign Sam Adams for goalie and just have him sit there and eat a sandwich. Nothing would get by him....
