View Full Version : I really didn't invest myself in this series...

I've only been able to see three games in this series...Carolina won all three...I haven't had the time to sit down and enjoy it...I haven't invested my emotions like others, haven't "bled red, black and white" like many other fans...have gotten unsettling feelings when I heard people talk about hosting Edmonton in the Stanley Cup...

and now, I haven't felt this bad about a sporting event since June 19, 1999...I can't imagine how terribly crushed I would feel if I was living this one on a daily basis...

You should be ashamed. I've gotten in fights with the wife unit cause I am in a pissy ass mood for 2 days when they lose.

3 Sabre wins - I've seen the 3rd period of game 3...

3 Hurricane wins - I've seen all three games...

then you are allowed to watch only the 3rd period. Eb, please don't tempt the sports gods.

If you didn't invest yourself in the series, then you shouldn't mind turning the TV off or going in the other room for the good of the team.

Do it now, before they score again!

One of the things about being born and raised in Buffalo, and following and caring about Buffalo sports is hoping that your kids share the passion.
Our kids have always been Bills fans. We build our Sundays around their games.
We were Sabres fans, but it was easier in the days that they were competitive.

This team/playoff/series made my kids fans again. The Sabres have been so quiet for so long. Our family watched every game and enjoyed it immensely.

Great year. Great series. Three kids reborn as lifelong Sabre fans.

Not bad.

So he is learning what it is like to be a Buffalo sports fan?

I was smart and only threw a slipper against the wall as opposed to a phone or remote.
