Paul Keizer To Try Out With Buffalo

Paul Keizer To Try Out With Buffalo

South Dakota State University's Paul Keizer (KI zer) has been invited to a free agent tryout with the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League.

The 6-4, 295 Hull, Iowa, native will report on June 14. Indications are the Bills will look at him as a guard, the position he played as a senior at SDSU last fall. He earned second-team all-Great West Football Conference honors.

A four-year letterman for the Jacks, Keizer played tight end until last season. He was a second-team all-North Central Conference selection as a sophomore and second-team all-GWFC as a junior.

Keizer was a key part in an offensive line which helped the Jacks rush for 227 yards per game, and produce two all-conference running backs from its one-back set: Anthony Watson (908 yards, 7.8 yards per carry, 10 TDs) and Cory Koenig (987 yards, 5.9 ypc, 8 TDs).

Is their a pattern here emerging with liking Olinemen that are converted TEs? They certainly are probably more athletic than straight Olinemen. Plus I like that with Peters (and maybe more in the future) we can declare Tackle eligible plays that forces defenses to pay attention to more things!

WTF? How many guards do we need? Maybe Marv should have addressed guard in the 2nd or 3rd round. Oh wait thats right, we didn't have a 2nd round pick. We used it to trade back up and take a backup/Rotational DT.

Theres no such thing as a back up DT in this system really. If thats the case, Triplett is a back up too.

Ice didn't know that. He's just starting his football education here on BZ.

I thought he knew everything about everything football. Doesn't his pop warner team run the Tampa Cover 2?

Ice as a coach runs all the systems of pro football. And Know it ALL!! And he even scouted all the rookies from the draft and knows the picks from Buffalo are all busts. ALL OF THEM!! Right ICE?

There are starters regardless of what BS the Bills are trying to pimp out to you lemmings.

You do have clear cut starters just like Tampa and Chicago has. Right now we are saying Tripplet and Anderson are those guys which = getting ran over.

but hey go on thinking what you want. Well all know that this org who's record rivals that of Arizona and detroit really knows what its doing

Well lets see, for years now I have been calling it right and don't see any change now.

Maybe you guys should wake up and realise Ralph isn't that good of an owner. The only guy that was here and successful he fired. Before then we sucked, since then we have sucked.

We are one of the 3 worst franchises in football, but hey, an 80 year old former coach who has been out of the league for 8 years is going to lead us to the promiced land with a HC that has a career losing record. And we are going to do so by picking up situational DT's in the first round. Right....

No but I have ran it with HS and College teams. And for this staff to just depend on it alone is a huge mistake. An even bigger one was taking another undersized DT that isn't good enough to be a majoritive starter. But you guys will see this soon enough.
