Great year and the team gave us a regular season record and a post season run better than anyone expected.

Special props for tonights game...considering all the injuries, to go into the opponents house for a game seven and lead 2-1 after two periods is a testament to their will and desire.

I'm not pissed, I'm disappointed. I'm proud of what they accomplished, and I don't consider this season a failure by any stretch. I'm annoyed that Carolina fans get to experience the joy of the Cup finals because there aren't even enough of them to fill their home arena for a playoff series.

This team does need some more help on the blue line. They need to add more talent on the backend. If they do that, we will pretty tough to beat next year. If they stand pat and do nothing, I don't think we will be able to take the next step.

Since I was primarly only able to watch the playoffs thanks to OLN showing rangers and penguins games. I can't really comment on the regular season other than I loved seeing us up near the top of the league all year! That was a great ride! We had some really great moments this year! I wish we could've topped it off with the cup. However, eliminating Ottawa the way we did will stick with me for a long time!

The 2005 - 2006 Buffalo Sabres played with more heart then any Buffalo sports team in my lifetime (starting 1968).

just sign most of our FA's and add a couple more solid FA's and with a little good health fortune we'll be unstoppable next year.

I'm more excited for hockey then football for the 1st time iin a long time. I love the new NHL and the Sabres

They played about a month longer than anyone would have thought before the season started. They will only get better next season.

A truly valiant effort on the Sabres part. What they did was amazing. All Galisano has to do is bring some high quality defensemen and offense players (5 of them) just in case they have this same problem again next season. You will hear from the Sabres next year.BELIEVE THAT!!!

Great season Sabres. They accomplished a lot more than I ever expected. It still hurts though:(
