We'll start with the facts. The Buffalo Sabres finished with a club-record 63 wins this season, including the playoffs. They reached the Eastern Conference finals for the third time in eight seasons. Great article. I don't see why some have to concentrate on not winning the cup, or concentrating on what they didn't do yet not how much this team did for the community and themselves.

The Sabres are the pride of Buffalo again. They've earned the hearts of Buffaloninas through good old fashion blue collar hard work.

And unlike many present day Bills players (cough * McGahee ), you get the feeling that Sabre players actually like Buffalo.
