    Numbers Crunching: Top No. 12s

    Jim Kelly

Sure he lost four Super Bowls, but this first-ballot Hall of Famer dominated the AFC with grit and talent for more than a decade.
John Stockton, my favorite basketball player, is also listed

From comments they ARE in order and yes Mr Tuck rule is #1

Oh and there are only 10 #12's listed - #11 is an ad.

I'm sick of Joe Namath....sure he's a great personality...except when he tries to make moves on female reporters, drunk at the halftime of games on national television...and im sure he was influential...

but seriously, the man had 2 out of 12 seasons where his passing TD's were less than his INT's.

        2....thats bad

Jim Kelly is a way better number 12 and a way better QB than Namath.

Why is that a joke? Sure I hate the Pats, but Brady is a great QB. I have nothing but respect for the guy. He has already won 3 Super Bowls and came damn near close again this year. He is one of the most clutch QB's in the game. He doesn't blow it when it counts (Peyton Manning) and gets the job done no matter what.

GO FIGURE TOM BRADY IS NUMBER 1

SI is just as bad as ESPN they can't wait to lick bradys sack. Had it not been for the "tuck rule" and drew bledsoe (who drove the pats down the field for the game winning td against pitt in the afc title game) who knows if his success would happen.

But hey i guess he is better then stabler, bradshaw, staubach, and griese. I mean what do i know i'm supposed to take si and espn word for everything please. Hell john stockton would be rated higher in my book yeah brady would be in the top 11 but not #1

I hate to say it but I agree. Its just too bad he plays in our own division. As for as Manning choking, Funny....I thought his OL looked like **** and was lost the entire game against Pittsburgh. That loss is on COACHING for not having them ready to face a 3-4 Defense. BTW...one kick by the 'Liquored up kicker' and the game goes to OT even after the total collapse of the indy OL.

I'd take manning in a heartbeat.

I hate to tell you this, Brady has EARNED it. 3 superbowl wins in 3 years in THIS era of profootball? Even bradshaw would agree. Unlike with those guys you listed, Brady has delt with turnover each year.

Thats not licking his sac, its FACT.

Sure Manning's o-line was bad this year, but what was his excuse all the other years?

I'll take a QB that wins Super Bowls over a QB that does nothing but pad his stats all season. Manning is this generations Dan Marino.

You can hate Brady all you want but I'm willing to bet that you'd cut your right foot off to have him on the Bills. I'm guessing your hatred stems from him being in the division?

Let's all sniff the toilet that tom sits on now, ready? SI has been incapable of following hockey, so the NFL shouldn't be that large a suprise.

Credit usually goes to the wrong people, 11 on the field make it happen. Move aside one lineman Tom is a squirming pile of jello. Do you kiss his *ss then?

Bradshaw @ #2 is a big stretch, big big.

I'd still take him in a heart beat. They are in it EVERY year and will be as long as he plays. I don't care about the other years, this last season his OL crapped its pants against the Steelers and they STILL were in the game thanks to manning.
