Series 1: Down 0-2 against Montreal. Koivu takes a stick to the eye, out for the year, Carolina wins.

Series 3: Down 0-1, 2-1 and tied 3-3. Play large portion of the series against an AHL defense and struggle to win in 7 games.

Series 4: Down 3-0 in second and 3-1 in the third. Did come back before the injury, But still took out Roly the goalie. SERIES OVER! Still, if I’m Peca and Pronger I’m nervous.



Disclaimer: I’m not saying that cheap shots are taking these players out. But maybe Carolina is a team of destiny. Or maybe they’re just damn lucky.

Yeah t hey seem pretty lucky to me too Pat.

I'm hoping the Oilers have a few more horseshoes than them tho. Conklin is a good goalie and we lead the playoffs in blocked shots.

All the Oilers have to do is stay out of the penalty box (even if they have the best post season PK) and rally around the goalie. Win one in Raleigh for Rollie and then come home to the loudest fans of the league.

Besides the footage of Rollie leaving the arena last night looked like he wasn't too hurt. When your at this stage of the season, youplay through pain like that.
