Buffalo, NY (WGR 550)- The NHL and its Player's Association have agreed to drop the moratorium against teams signing their own unrestricted free agents after June 15th. The two sides have agreed to let clubs talk to their unrestricted guys right up until July 1st when free agency begins. That gives Darcy Regier more time to sign Jay McKee, Mike Grier, Teppo Numminen, Rory Fitzpatrick and Doug Janik before they hit the open market.

WGR gets it wrong again :laughing: it was probably big, fat, moron Paul Hamilton that reported this who knows anything about hockey I don't even see why he's covering the SABRES what a Putz. :laughing: the only guys that are UFA are McKee, Grier and Numminen all the others are RFA and the SABRES can deal with them later.

Mckee And Grier Are UFA, and were talked about all the time because of their impact on teh team

Janik is an UFA, no one cared because he didnt wear a sabres uniform till teh Con, Finals,

Fitz Patrick is an UFA, but no one cared because alot of people wanted him gone (lazy play i guess) his nick name was "SHI-TZPatrick"
