He needs to retire before he has a heart attack. That is one intense dude! Very good coach:up:

No way. Must be looking for contract or more power. At most he may take a couple of years off and come back. Most of them do.

I agree with eyedog.... Cowher is setting the stage for a megadeal... His wife and daughter just moved to Raleigh... he knows that in a couple years when he's up for renewal, he will have suitors lining up... The ball's in the Rooney's court.

You know what's closer to Raleigh than Pittsburgh? DC. Gibbs is gone in a couple years, max. Cowher to Snyder for 10 million a year. You heard it speculated here first.

Great coach. Standup guy. The league will be worse off without him. He may take a few years off but a guy that wound up doesn't stay out of the game for long.

I'm still angry that Art Modell NEVER gave Cowher any chance at landing the Browns head coaching job after Marty left then after Bud Carson got canned. During Martys' tenure with the Browns, Cowher was the special teams coach.

And it's even more annoying he went to the enemy, but he's had a hell of a career and is a hell of a coach.

I dont think he will.
listening to the sports radio yesterday, most of the radio hosts really believe that he will only be around for 1 or at most 2 more seasons. you dont spend 2.5 million on a house 600 miles away just to let it sit empty.

Depends on what type of relationship it is with his wife. Since coaching is what pays the bills I do not think buying a house is a guarentee he is going to leave in a few years.
