    Lunch with Steve Tasker

Steve Tasker and I were both delegates at the same (church) conference this weekend. On Saturday I sat down at one of probably 90 tables, and who should sit down next to me but Steve Tasker. There were a couple other football fans at the table so I definitely didn't have him all to myself, and in view of the occasion I didn't feel it was appropriate to talk only football. With that disclaimer said, I asked him how long he thought it might take for the Bills to again be competitive with the leadership of the AFC East. He was non-commital about a time frame, but unequivocal in his affirmation of both Levy and Jauron and said "It will happen."

Obviously, this is no surprise. He played for Levy and always showed tons of respect for him. but I thought it was worth sharing.

BTW, He loves his job working for CBS, and continues to work for the Bills doing personal apperances and such. He sounded like he would continue working for CBS as long as they wanted him. He acknowledged it is an extremely competitive business and implied he couldn't be sure that next year someone might come along that CBS would like better, and boom he'd be out of a job.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

In a jar, on a shelf, next to the unopened Miracle Whip.

      What did he eat?

Did he talk with his mouth full of food?

      Is he a good tipper?

Does he slurp when he eats soup?

Yeah, and ask him if the turf is spongy...

The Conference we both attended was at the Adams Mark Hotel in Buffalo. Because of the volume of people there was no menu selection. Lunch was a soup, salad and sandwich buffet and there was no tipping. Steve had soup and did not slurp. I did not have soup. No, he did not talk with his mouth full.

You could've at least asked him who he thought would end up starting at qb.

Did he remember to say grace?

It would be funny if he dropped his fork and said "GOD DAMN IT".

Given the fact it was a church conference, the meal grace was said by one person for the whole group.

I probably should have, but I suspect, being the diplomat he is, he would have been non-committal.
