Jauron - May Start Splitting Reps Between 2 QB's

[Night Train]

2 local stations this weekend ( Channels' 4 & 7 ) quoted Jauron as stating he may now start splitting the majority of the Reps between 2 QB's, instead of 3.

Both stations speculated that Nall was the odd man out, since both Losman and Holcomb seem far ahead of him in running the offense and on-field execution.

Nall Ball may be done before it started.

Train would imply power, speed and strength of which Holcomb has none.

A few observations:

1) Nall must be really bad. The fact that they pulled the plug this fast says something about our coaching staff. They are willing to admit mistakes and change things. That's a positive.

2) Now we have a 2 way competition. Holcomb is going to provide you with what he always does, so he isn't going to bring anything unexpected.

3) Last year Losman dazzled some people with his long ball and zip. If he plays a little more patiently I think he can impress the coaching staff. I really believe now that it is his job to lose.

Agreed. Holcomb is VERY Limited. If JP can play a little more patient and be willing to dump the ball off more, he has to be the starter this year

Not likely but maybe the competition is between Losman and Nall...they know what they have with KH, maybe he's sone enough to convince them that he's already earned his spot on the bench? Should be an intersting news conference that's for sure.

And has a losing record doing such. It NEVER works out. Playoff calibre teams have one set QB. They had better let JP have the full season if they are going to start him.

Look, here is reality...we aren't making the playoffs this year. I don't want to hear anymore crap of 'You always play to win'. In the NFL if you have NO SHOT, take that year and get the guys the development needed to help you become WINNERS. We did this **** last year. We sucked yet tried to 'play to win'. What happened was a new GM, Coaching staff, Turmoil in the locker room and with the fanbase.

Right now we ARE rebuilding this team. This is that year (last year SHOULD have been that year) where we develop our guys to start making a run next year. We weed out a few more problems, Bring in some FA's (hopefully Ralph is ok with the CBA enough to do it since we will have about 20+ mill in cap room!) and hopefully draft better and go win.
