They already have the Stanley Cup rally and parade planned.

I was listening to the Team sports radio this morning and they were talking to the mayor of Raleigh and the parade route is planned and the rally is scheduled for Saturday.

Un-frikkin-believable!

That is why I went from liking them second to the Sabres to absolutely despising them. Before the sabres series was over they had Eastern Conference Champions on there website. The captain and coach are as whiny as they come.

Stop it you guys.. you know if the Sabres were up 3-1 with Game 5 tonight in HSBC Arena we'd all be talking about where we were lining up on Delaware Avenue this weekend.....

I hate that we lost to those ****s as much as the next guy... but we have to realize we never win...whether its a missed field goal.. a disputed goal... or we suddenly lose 4 defensemen and our top playmaker in a playoff run. It is never in the cards for us.

You guys discussing here is not a problem. It's when the media starts printing that shows arrogance

There are a lot of logistics involved. :::

You need to plan a little bit, but keep it quiet.

I just heard an arrogant idiot on Rome talking smack about every team they faced thus far.

He didn't have good things to say about B-lo and he called us "seal clubbing Oilers" He needs a geography lesson as we are landlocked here.

He also said then when (not if) Brindamoor hoists the cup tonight it's going to show all the Carolina haters that they are for real.

I hope to heck we take the next 3 games to laugh in his face.

And That Blistering Pass Across The Crease In the Zone Let to the GWG, oh wrong adjective...

man oh man, once i saw that pass with 3 Oilers between the defensemen, i was like thats it, everyone and their mom had time to read that play....

I Got a Nice shot of some kid shooting hte finger at ice level to the oilers, maybe i should record it and send to FCC :)

Looks like the parade and rally are not going to happen on Saturday as they have this thing called GAME 6!!!

I think the Oilers should start planning their own celebration

Well it's far too soon for that Clump, but this was one heck of a victory and a step in the right direction.

The last 3 teams to trail 3-2 won the Cup (according to ESPN this morning)

I have no rooting interest but I hope the Oilers make it 4.

But only one team in NHL history has ever come back from being down 3-1 and that was the '42 Leafs. These guys have what it takes to be the second team to overcome a deficit like that.

Ward and Weight may be gone for game 6 and perhaps the series and that will turn the favour to the Oil.

The city has a great buzz about it today considering Pisani is from Edmonton.

One thing for sure the Canes better not complain about injuries because they wouldn't be in the finals if there opponents had not endured so many injuries. Heck I rather loses Ward and Weight then Roloson so the Canes still end up ahead in this series.
