These QBs likely to get second chance

Failure to elevate their teams will send Kordell Stewart, Jake Plummer and eventually Brian Griese into the free-agent market this winter.

Because there are so few capable quarterbacks available and because there are so many teams that need them, Stewart and Plummer figure to command center stage once free agency kicks in Feb. 28.

Already straining at the leash are the Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys, all desperate for a new offensive leader.

What's clear in an era when recycled quarterbacks have become stars and even Super Bowl winners is that you don't have to have a franchise quarterback to win it all anymore.

Having all those QB's potentially hit the FA market will clobber RJ's dreams of getting a shot at starting in this league again. Every one of the QB's named in the article has it all over RJ- even Plummer.
Argue like hell. Keep it clean. And when it's over, shake hands and root for our team!
