The only one I still own is the one I bought directly from Champion in 93. They were the official provider of the Bills unis. I asked for one of Jims that they were going to ship and they said they actually had a couple extra. It cost 200.00 back in 93!

I took it to the Bills locker room the saturday before the Raiders game and got Jim to sign it for me. Outside of one with MY Name on it, its the only one I'll own.

My mom worked for Champion Products back in the late 80's early 90's when the Bills jerseys were done by Champion Products.. So I got to touch the jerseys before the players did.. I did get a bunch of jerseys for almost nothing..

I got most of mine from Champion back then, too.

I have an Andre Reed jersey and a Thurman Thomas jersey--unfortunately, neither of them fit me anymore.

I also have a blank, numberless one well that still just barely fits but is very tight.

And, then, I have an authentic Doug Flutie jersey that a friend of mine (a Giants fan that I got start rooting for the Bills as his second NFL team) gave me for Christmas, one year when Flutie was the Bills QB. Because that one fits, it is the one I wear the most often, even though I wasn't as much of a fan of Flutie as I was of a lot of other Bills players over the years.

My biggest regret is that I never asked for or took a Bills jersey back when I worked for the team in the early 1970s and I knew almost everyone on the team and talked with some of the players almost daily. But, in those days, unis really weren't a big fashion thing and it never crossed my mind to get a jersey, especially since I was around lockerrooms and players all of the time in those days (I only wound up keeping two of my own jerseys from my playing days and one of those only because my name was on the back and we were told to keep them!). Stupid, huh?!?! Oh, well....

I'd love to get a throwback that was customized to resemble that of my favorite Bills player when I was growing up: Tom Sestak. But, for the moment, I have other priorities.

As a former HS football player i will say that authentics are very uncomfy for me in south FL. They are just too damn heavy. Sucks because the same goes for hockey jerseys.. So lucky for me that replicas are cheaper...nice & light and perfect combo with shorts :)
