The Hurricanes wouldn't have beaten the Sabres in 7 games. The Sabres would've won if they had all their players or at least most of them. The Canes let a Sabres team with a depleted roster and yet they pushed them to 7 games and now the Oilers are doing the same. The Canes thought they had the Oilers with the loss of Roloson,but the were wrong. Come on Oilers,beat those Canes!!!

We wouldve beat the Canes in 6 games easily,possibly 5 if not for our injuries. I truly believe this,because we are that good.

Me and my big mouth! The Canes took it to the Oilers! Still the Sabres would've done the same thing if we had most of our players. It's just not fair!

I think you still underestimate the Oilers. The Sabres Oilers series would have been as dramatic a showdown as the Canes Oilers series was.
The Oilers came out flat in game 7.
The goal in game one was deciding factor in the entire series as it took the Oilers a few games to recover from that boneheaded move.

The biggest difference is that we would've have home ice advantage and the HSBC would've been rocking!!! Yeah!
