-- Keith Brooking wouldn't be dining at Falcons owner Arthur Blank's house Monday night if he wasn't hopeful of re-signing with the team before Thursday.
"Considering how bad I want to be here and how bad they're saying they want me here, I think we'll get something done," Brooking said Sunday. "But we've still got some work to do, I'll be quite honest with you."
