For those of you who don't watch the Daily Show regularly, it always ends with Stephen Colbert doing a brief promo for his show, The Colbert Report.
Well last night he came on and said (paraphrase- I can't remember it exactly) "My Hurricanes won last night- they did a good job moving the ball up and down the, um, court and the scored in all three, um, innings? Growing up as a boy in Charleston, South Carolina, I always wanted a local team to win the Stingley Cup".
Of course, it was much funnier on the show. So far I haven't been able to find the video on the internet, but if I come across it I'll definitely post it.
A deserved jab IMO.
