New Islanders head coach Ted Nolan, making his triumphant return to the NHL, will present the Jack Adams Award for coach of the year at the 2006 NHL Awards Television Special on June 22.
Nolan will be joined by co-presenter Marc Crawford, the new coach of the Los Angeles Kings. This year's three very worthy nominees for the Adams Award? Former Islanders coach Peter Laviolette, Rangers coach Tom Renney and Buffalo coach Lindy Ruff, Nolan's successor with the Sabres.
