I actually watched two hockey games since I've been in Canada and I'm really starting to get the lingo down. lol I even got to see the infamous "Coaches Corner." I'm a real big fan of Don Cherry now. ;) I caught that guy spitting his teeth before Ticat did! Go me!!!:curtsey: I also got to see your guy Tie Domi beat the crap outta some poor guy in the Senators. And he never even flinched! He's a real bruiser. And, Ticat got me my very own Go, Leafs Go sweatshirt! I think I've been converted to a hockey fan.

This is Jaded, just so you know. Yup, I'm still stuck in Canada. Snow in DC has left me stranded in a foreign country. I'm hoping to be back on American soil tomorrow. I'll keep you posted.

BironsGirl, I totally forgot to look for #12. :( I'm sorry. I guess I needed a reminder before I left. The one guy on the Senators, #6 Wade someone or other is a real cutie. And, our seats were INCREDIBLE!!!!! Six rows up from the Senators goal. I flinched a few times when the puck came flying onto the glass. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see any fights at the game. The only one I saw was the Tie Domi fight on Saturday night on TV. And, you'll all be so proud of me. I learned a lot more about hockey while I was there. A two minute penalty is when you smack someone, four minutes is when there's blood and ejected from the game is when you smack someone intentionally and there's blood.:D I also learned that when you fight with someone you want to pull their sweater over their head so they are stuck and you can just pummel them. lol A hat trick is when one teams scores three goals and a natural hat trick is when one player scores three goals.

I had a GREAT time and I actually enjoyed the hockey games I watched. It really helped to have someone right there who I could ask questions if I didn't understand something. Ticat is a great teacher.
