All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Marino couldn't throw at all in the windy, icy late season conditions at the Ralph. He would have been a disaster in Buffalo.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
We didn't lose any Super Bowls because of Jim Kelly. The whole team got beat in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th ones. The first one, as we all know, was a tossup.
If The Bills traded the Dolphins Jim Kelly for Dan Marino straight up after the first two super bowl losses.
Would Dan finally be able to beat Jim in the playoffs? Could he win the superbowl with the Bills?
Or would Kelly still win in the playoffs with some good receivers and the k-gun.
In this scenario, Marino would have to learn the k-gun (named after TE Keith McKellar) and Kelly would have to learn whatever system Miami had in place then.
Marino was better at taking care of the ball and getting it out of his hands in tough pursuit, that is until he came to Buffalo in December or January. Marino broke records because he never had a run game and carried the offense, and extremely well I should add. I think there were many other QB's that could have done that including Kelly, Elway, Favre, Young, etc. Marino would not be the extra inch we needed to clear that final hurdle.
Marino didn't use the run game enough. The Bills were good because of the combination of run and pass.
IMO, what killed us the most in those superbowls was the lack of a tough run defense. We needed a better push in the middle. Smerlas would have been good for that defense. Too bad he wanted too much and Marv and he didn't see eye to eye. Jeff Wright was a decent DT, but not a good NT.
Don't make personal atacks unless you think it is ok for me to call you a moron with delusions of becoming the next Jerry Sullivan, ok?
Marino has terrible at faking handoffs to running backs and running backs got too many hits and hurt his running game.
1- I can ASSURE you I dont want to become the next Jerry Sullivan.
2- NOBODY on this board is a bigger Jim Kelly fan than I am. My HOUSE is literally a Jim Kelly museum, He's my ALL TIME football hero and I've been accused by many friends of being a little obsessed with Jim Kelly.
3- Having said that, you truly are football chemically imbalanced and beyond hommerific if you're saying that Kelly led us to four Super Bowls and that we woudnt even have made the playoffs if Marino was our quarterback, because he was terrible at faking handoffs to running backs. I personally despised Marino, but with the talent in Buffalo we'd have been a contender with Marino as the QB just the same. Maybe if Miami ever had a real running back he wouldn't have to fake handoffs 25 times per game.
That statement in comparison makes Skooby sound like John Madden.
