There's nothing like playing with a chip on your shoulder.

Fred Jackson, the second to last selection in the NFL Europe allocated player draft earlier this year, finished as one of the league's offensive stars, second in the league's rushing race with 731 yards.

NFL Europe's leader with 1,238 all-purpose yards, the former Sioux City Bandit is still an unknown heading into training camp later next month with the NFL's Buffalo Bills. The 6-1, 210-pounder from NCAA Division III Coe College is listed fifth (and last) on the Bills' running back depth chart, but for the last three weeks, he has been studying the playbook an average of three hours a day. more (http://www.siouxcityjournal.com/articles/2006/06/29/sports/bandits/59dd36ab58f11bb48625719c0002ef14.txt)

The criticism of Jackson (a little further down in the article) is that he doesn't seem to have the extra gear when he gets into the open field. That will probably relegate him to no more than a role player in the NFL. He's similar to Joe Burns in that respect.

I guarentee he won't make the team!

I guarentee he won't make the team!Barring injury, I agree. Willis McGahee, Anthony Thomas, and Lionel Gates are all well ahead of him on the depth chart. I'm not sure Shaud Williams makes the team either.

I watched him in NFLEL and i was impressed as he seemed to make at least one huge play per game. He was also a excellent pass catcher. (2nd most yards, most catches on team) Of course this was against NFLEL competition so who knows? I think he's got a shot.
