OK I don't think that the new logo isn't that bad! But this could be the reason why they didn't go with the 1970's logo or update the logo because the Buffalo Jr. Sabres use it now. Who used to be the Buffalo Lightning http://www.buffalojrsabres.org/

The Sabres and Jr Sabres used those jersey's in the 70's and 80's at the same time....so why should it be different now?

I really don't think the logo is that bad. Like I've mentioned before, it's just not what we expected...that doesn't make it bad.
