Did anone notice Dr Z's article on 2007 Hall of Fame? My impression was that he did not vote for Thurman for the finals but will this year:

I think Derrick Thomas, the K.C. sack machine who has lost out for the last two years as a finalist, will get my vote this time. Ditto Thurman Thomas, the engine that ran the Bills' K-Gun run-and-shoot offense and got them into four Super Bowls.

"You'll notice," Jim Kelly used to say, "they call it the run-and-shoot, with run first, not the other way around. Thurman is the guy who makes it go."

I thought this was going to be the year for Thurman anyhow. He fell in with an unreal class last year and I figured he would be 1st or 2nd runner-up. He was.

This year, he'll clear. Go #34 ! Straight to Canton.

My god....I just read the list of who's eligible this year....what a sad sad list of first time eligible guys compared to years past. Thurm gets in this year, sadly this might be Art Monks' best chance to get in for a while, considering he's snubbed constantly.

Yes... Troy Aikmen, Harry Carson, and Warren Moon are all certainly more deserving of being in over Thurman Thomas :rolleyes:

Also, Doctor Z is an idiot. He and John Clayton should get a room.

He should have been in the hall last year and probably would have if he ahd not gone to play for Fish. A wasted year and a tougher class to compete against.

Gee, didn't cheap Ralph make Kelly the highest paid player (or damn close to it) at that time?
