Mike Greer scored all of 7 goals last year. It's not like he's going to be real hard to replace.

I heard a rumor that he's going to sign with the Wild

There's more to him than scoring, but I don't think he will be difficult to replace either.

Wow, I don't know what to say.

I thought Grier was a force of disruption for opposing teams, who seemed to take his game up a notch in the palyoffs some.

He's replaceable, just like the rest of our entire roster.

I think the biggest thing we lose with losing anyone is the team chemistry and team dynamic. Losing one player shouldn't disrupt thing too greatly but every player lost will hurt a little more.

2-1 = 1

I'd rather have 2 - 0 = 2

I'd rather let guys like Gaustad, Mair, Pomminville, and even Pyatt play more than spend $1.5 mil or so on Greer.

Wow....there's more to Hockey than goals. With Grier you have a real good penalty killer, good defender, finishes checks. He's not dependable on the breakaway...but whatever. He hasn't been a healthy scratch once all season...which shows the he's dependable. Someone on here said they'd rather see guys like Pyatt and Gaustad play more than spend a small $1.5 million on Grier (Spell check for those who can't spell lol)....but those two guys are good but aren't as good as Grier. Although I think Pyatt is on his way, because he played very well those last few games of the ECF's. But whatever, we'll see...
