All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

I gotta say it. I can't wait for the season to start! I'm thumbing through my Street & Smith's NFL preview issue and I'm drooling by the fact that if everything falls into place they can actually fight for a 2nd place finish in the division or win it. I love the fact that the Bills are a question mark team. Don't be surprised if the Bills with J.P. Losman (yes J.P. will be the starter) and the rest of the Bills make some noise in the AFC East. I also love the fact that there are new faces on the team that will contribute to the Bills success.

I feel the same way every year but you said it, everything has to fall into place. Not to be a negative nancy but ive been waitin for the peices to fall into place for years and they havent so I wont get too excited. That been said, its a new season, a new team, and anything can happen. Im really lookin to the season to see just really what JP can do. We definately have a capable team, we need Juron to get these guys to believe in his system. Love the optimism.
I'm not positive or negative about this season - which is a first - normally, I am so confident that the Bills are gonna do great in the days leading up to the season...
this year though, I just don't quite have that same feeling - that being said though - I can't wait for even the preseason now that I've got the NFL Network and I know they will be airing all the preseason games.

We have new systems on each side of the ball and an unproven head coach. Our QB situation is a mess. We don't have a proven #1 receiver. The OL still needs work. The DT situation is at best mildly better than it was last year, and the new system relies heavily on the pass rush. We don't know how TKO will be after his injury or if McGahee will actually try. The schedule does not work in our favor, with 3 division games early.
Is it possible that this team could do well? Sure, anything's possible (John Doe and justa will stroke me for that one), but it ain't likely. This team will do well IF
IF JP finally gets it and looks like an NFL QB
IF the OL plays above their level
IF Lee Evans can be a #1 receiver and someone like Price or Davis picks up as a legit #2
IF the players can learn the new systems fast enough
IF Whitner contributes as a rookie
IF Spikes is 100%
IF some of these underacheivers like Price, Gibson, Kelsay, Josh Reed, etc step up and contribute
IF the DL plays better than it looks on paper
IF Jauron coaches above the level that he did in Chicago
I'm sure some of those things will happen, but if you think enough of those things will happen to make this team competitive, you're just being naive. Good teams go into the season with more answers than questions. We don't even really know who our QB will be on opening day.
All I'm expecting this season is improvement. I want to see the team look a hell of a lot better in Week 17 than they do in week 1. Coming off a 5-11 season with a new coaching staff and FO, anything else is asking too much.
