It's the image that's been making the rounds on the internet, now someone close to the design tells 2 On Your Side that this design is the new logo for the Sabres.

somebody should take out an add in the BN urging people to flood the sabres FO with complaints... just like 103.3 took out adds in philly papers.

In the email i wrote, i put in links to the Sabres Zone for logo/jersey ideas, and a link to the petition.

this is what I wrote:

Dear Mr Golisano & Mr Quinn,

I thank you for going back to the blue& gold but please don't use this logo it's hideous and ugly and I will never buy any merchandise with this hideous logo. I have a better idea for a logo use the 3rd jersey logo with the crossed swords and use the buffalo that we have now change it to blue & gold and mount it in the upper middle between the two Sabres and have the "B" with the sabre going through it on the shoulders. OR use these http://www.celsiusdesign.net/sabres/jerseys.html anything but this ugly thing!

I could live with that, not very happily (sp) but it's better with the crossed sabres than alone!

I sent them an email also. Basically I told them I was glad they were going back to the blue and gold, but this logo was horrible, and that the original 6 teams uniforms have hardly changed and that we should just go back to our old uniforms and call them the new old uniforms.
