Vanek to Tampa Bay?

there was a post on hockeybuzz.com by eklund saying that Vanek to Tampa Bay. But there wasn't an actual article, it just says more details later. Just wanted to let people know what I saw. What do you think if that was to happen though? What would you guys expect back?

Yea, I would hope so too...I can't see why they would trade Vanek after one season in the NHL. Also, its strange because further down the main page...someone announces that Janik was signed by Tampa. So I dunno, I really don't know that to think. I'm hoping its a **** up on Eklund's part....

That doesnt' sound to hard to believe...but the only reason I would say "maybe not" is because of the fact that they signed Marc Denis the other day. I think...but I could be wrong lol

Janik and Vanek sound similar in nature, and if someone pronounced the J like a Y (or even keeping it the same) , it is not hard to see someone accidentally mistake the two.

You are right Marc Denis signed for a 3 or 4 year deal worth around 3 mill a season so that doesnt make any sense at all then..
