    DiGiorgio fits the Bills

John DiGiorgio is a student-teaching segment away from finishing his bachelor's degree in physical education from Saginaw Valley State University. However, if DiGiorgio has his way, those plans may be put on the back burner until this winter, as he embarks on chasing every young football player's dream of playing in the National Football League. more

DiGiorgio may turn out to be a good player. Ronald MacKinnon came out of D2 North Alabama, and has been a very good MLB in this league for about 10 years now. Not to mention Liam Ezekiel, another D2 guy, who may be battling DiGiorgio for a roster spot.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I just can't get excited about players like this. Yes, it's true they do occasionally make it. But every year, it seems like there are a tone of UDFA's or DII guys that seem like hot **** in preseason, but they become distant memories by the time the regular season starts.

Drew Haddad and Constantin Ritzmann come readily to mind.
