DiGiorgio may turn out to be a good player. Ronald MacKinnon came out of D2 North Alabama, and has been a very good MLB in this league for about 10 years now. Not to mention Liam Ezekiel, another D2 guy, who may be battling DiGiorgio for a roster spot.Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I just can't get excited about players like this. Yes, it's true they do occasionally make it. But every year, it seems like there are a tone of UDFA's or DII guys that seem like hot **** in preseason, but they become distant memories by the time the regular season starts.
Drew Haddad and Constantin Ritzmann come readily to mind.
