That's just f'ed up... That is still by far the scariest thing I've ever seen on television in my life, especially since it was right before I turned 7.

:puke: I don't remember it vagly I was just a little guy only 10 years old I wasn't that much into the SABRES yet. But I remember my mom yelling "Oh My God" and she came running into the kitchen and told us that Malarchuck was just cut with a skate and that there was blood everywhere. I'm surprised a toy company even put this out on the market. Who made it Starting Lineup?

I wrote this to the seller

I can't believe you are trying to profit on this type of thing. This man nearly died and you put something disgusting like this up for sale. You are a sad human being.

Everybody should send him a message.

BlackMetalNinja

I did too:

What the hell is wrong with you??? Anybody that would try to make a profit off something as horrendous as what happened to Clint Malarchuck is probably about the lowest form of human scum I can imagine. Do you even stop to think before making something like this? I'm sure if somebody were trying to make money off a life threatening accident involving you, you'd think it was a real riot right? Grow the hell up and stop selling this garbage.

Bigger things like the Bills winning more than 4 games this year and listening to all the "experts" spout off in the main forum? That kind of bigger?

Sale of item on eBay depicts the night Sabres' goalie had his throat cut by skate
More than 17 years after that horrific night in Buffalo, Clint Malarchuk is still being reminded of just how lucky he is to be alive.

Most recently, the reminder has come in the form of a bizarre figurine being sold on eBay. It depicts Malarchuk on the night of March 22, 1989, when he was playing goal for the Buffalo Sabres and had his throat cut by another player's skate.
