The Edmonton Oilers traded their seventh round pick in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft to the Buffalo Sabres on Monday in exchange for the rights to defenceman Jan Hejda.

We drafted him in '03 and he's already 28 years old. Sounds like getting a 7th rounder for him was really generous of Edmonton.

This must be earth-shattering news out of Edmonton. Seeing how we got their man Spacek, they got our man Hejda. Props to Regier for getting a draft pick for this guy.

yeah seeing we were doing nothing with that player and he wasnt even on the sabres prospect list at all :) :honda:
