No contract terms yet. I hope they can sign at least half of the guys headed to arbitration to long term deals. Darcy needs to keep this team together and happy.

Do any of you think we will still see J-Pom and Connoly on the point? (For PP)

Not a regular bases but maybe time to time when we are down a goal near the end of the game.

Can anyone even be sure Connelly will ever even play again?

I heard it's 2 million for 3 years.

If those numbers are correct that's one HELL of a bargain.

Reversed .... AP says it's 2 years, $3 million. $1.25 this year, $1.75 next.

I think Campbell is going to be our McKee for this year

I dunno, campbell and spacek will be getting power play points and stuff,

our new McKee May be Tallinder, he saved our bacon numorous times by blocking or preventing shots withing 5 feet of the goalcrease.. :respect: and had he had a stick he prolly woulda stopped smolinksi's game 1 goal..

Tallinder is hands down our best Dman at this point.

Still good news.

I really like our defense for next season. They will only make Miller look that much better. Plus he now has an entire year between the pipes in the NHL and now know exactly what to expect and how to prepare for each game. We will be back in the Eastern Conf. Finals again next year, and with some luck from not being injured, we will be in the cup finals. We should have been there this year.

By the way, how bad could McKee's leg infection be to miss game 7 of the Conference Finals? I know he had issues with it prior to game 7, but I think I could bandage it up and take a **** load of painkillers and shots to play in the biggest game of the year!

I think spacek and campbell will be used on the first power play line but u could see pominville play point on shift 2

Hey, someone's got to make a negative comment so I guess I will do it. :D

Weird contract. Darcy says multi year contract and I heard when the press conference started and Campbell wasn't there (I guess there was a miscommunication) the press questioned his use of multi year contract when they found out it was for only two years and he said, "Well, two years IS more than one year." The guy basically tripled his salary from last year and he was and is IMO our sixth best defenseman.

Darcy remarked how Campbell gave up a possible year of UFA because he would have been a free agent next year.
